Complete PharmCAS Application
The UMKC School of Pharmacy utilizes the Pharmacy College Application Service (PharmCAS). Please read and follow the specific PharmCAS application instructions. Applicants applying for regular admission must complete and submit the PharmCAS Application with all required documentation and fee no later than the March 1, 2020 deadline. Students applying for the Early Decision admission must apply no later than Sept. 3, 2019. Applicants applying by September 3rd have the option to choose either Early Decision Admission or Regular Admission.
Official transcript(s) from each college attended showing all coursework attempted (including courses from UMKC and/or dual credit courses from high school) through the Fall 2019 semester must be submitted to PharmCAS.
Please notify email@example.com of any Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) credit for prerequisite course work. Official AP and IB scores should be sent to UMKC before the Fall start semester.

Early Decision Admission Program
The Early Decision Program is a binding option for applicants who have decided that a particular pharmacy degree program is their first choice and that they will enroll if accepted. As an Early Decision applicant, you can apply to only one pharmacy degree program. In addition to completing the PharmCAS application, applicants applying for Early Decision must arrange for PharmCAS to receive all of their official transcripts and fee by the September deadline. If your application, transcripts, or fee arrive after the Early Decision deadline, PharmCAS will automatically change your file from Early Decision status to Regular status.
Campus Site Selection
Applicants choose their campus site selection preference(s) at time of application. Applicants have the option to rank site selections, choose only one site selection, or indicate no preference. Do not rank a site if you are certain it is not a good fit for you. If you choose a site, even if ranked second, you must be willing to accept an admission offer to that site. Applicants are notified of their acceptance site in their USPS mailed admission notice. Students admitted to a site other than their first choice will remain on the waiting list for their higher ranked preference.

Because we offer rolling admissions beginning in October, your best chance to be placed at your preferred campus location is to apply early in the process.
Once applicants have submitted their PharmCAS application and UMKC Pharm.D. supplemental application, they should continue to monitor their PharmCAS applicant portal for messages and notices.
