Three Amazing Campuses — The Same Quality Education
No matter where you take your Pharm.D. classes, you learn from faculty who are either present in the classroom or streaming live using distance technology. Students experience the same level of success in passing the licensure exams, residency placement and on-time graduation at all three sites.
We accept up to 95 students per class in Kansas City, up to 30 per class in Columbia and up to 30 per class in Springfield.
Kansas City
A major metropolitan center with a population of more than two million, Kansas City has world-class arts and entertainment, an enthusiastic professional and collegiate sports scene and, of course, world-famous barbeque. Kansas City is the home base for the UMKC School of Pharmacy, where our campus sits alongside schools of medicine, dentistry and nursing and health studies. We are one of only 18 institutions in the country to have all major health professions schools in the same location. Watch the video to learn more about all three of our campuses and hear from students at each location.

Columbia
Located in the heart of Missouri, Columbia is home to about 120,000 residents. Our Columbia site offers a vibrant student life that includes NCAA Division I athletics, great dining and the arts. The Columbia area is home to many outdoor activities with easy access to a large network of hiking and biking trails. The pharmacy students take classes in the Academic Support Center and the faculty and staff are housed in Lewis Hall, about a 10-minute walk away. Both facilities are conveniently located on the University of Missouri campus.

Springfield
Located in southern Missouri, the Springfield metropolitan area is home to more than 525,000 people. Springfield has a strong economy based in health care, manufacturing, retail, education and tourism. The area is also a great launching point for outdoor recreation areas close to the Ozarks and Table Rock Lake. The pharmacy students there attend classes and faculty have their offices in Brick City, a Missouri State University space located about 10 minutes by shuttle bus or car from the main MSU campus. The School of Pharmacy has specially designed space on the fourth floor of Brick City that was designed to meet the needs of our program.
