Biography

Maureen Knell received her doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Pharmacy and completed an ASHP accredited residency in pharmacy practice at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She is currently a clinical professor in the Division of Pharmacy Practice and Administration. She is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist.

Dr. Knell’s primary responsibilities include participating in interprofessional, patient-centered care and education in the Internal Medicine, Anticoagulation and Chronic Pain Clinics within the Saint Luke’s Multi-Specialty Clinic. Her practice and scholarly interests include chronic pain management, interprofessional education, scholarship of education, arthritis and other internal medicine disease states and conditions. She has participated as an invited speaker at regional and national meetings, and authored several papers and book chapters in the areas of arthritis, dietary supplement use, interprofessional education and under-served ambulatory care populations.
