Amannda DeBoef

Office Support Assistant IV, Office of Experiential Education

Biography

Manndi works for the UMKC School of Pharmacy at Missouri State University. She has worked for UMKC since 2014, and enjoys seeing the transition from first-year students to graduating pharmacists. She says “Having just a small hand in the pharmacy journey of our students is a delight like none other!”

She is an avid lover of travel, reading, trail riding and hiking, and she has a passion for creative writing and works as a freelance writer for several publications. In addition, Manndi enjoys photography, fashion and anything turquoise. Fall and winter are her favorite seasons and she is a strong believer that it is never too early for pumpkin spice lattes and Hallmark Christmas movies. A proud collector of owls, anchors, coffee mugs from various travel destinations, and other random trinkets, she is always encountering a new and unexpected hobby or collection. Her greatest joy is being a mother to Liam (11) and Waylan (9), as well as her furry children, an 8-month-old Cockapoo named Atlas, a beautiful yellow lab named Lucy, and a very ornery black cat named Hamilton, who thinks he is ALWAYS in charge.

“Live a life worth writing about” is Manndi's motto and she actively strives to achieve this every day.
