The formulation development for prevention against sexually transmitted disease including AIDS and cancer onset and the calcium related regulation and the role of proteins in the area of fertility control, cardiovascular and skin diseases

About

Research Interests

I. Working on the formulation development for prevention against sexually transmitted disease including AIDS and cancer onset
A. Development and evaluation of transdermal/transmucosal drug delivery systems
B. Study on Drug transport and membrane Phenomena
1. Effect of volume/load dose/receptor solutions for drug permeation through the skin or membrane: non-linearity of percutaneous absorption
2. Effect of polymer base for drug release and permeation through the skin or mucosal membrane
3. Effect of chelating agents on drug permeation through the skin or mucosal membrane
4. Effect of enhancers on drug permeation through the skin or mucosal membrane
5. Effect of skin enzymes on drug permeation through the skin or mucosal membrane
C. Development and evaluation of the model cell lines and computer modeling processes

II. Working on the calcium related regulation and the role of proteins in the area of fertility control, cardiovascular and skin diseases
A. For skin disease: psoriasis or acne
B. For mineralization pathology: calcification, atherosclerosis, and osteoporosis
C. For fertility control: contraceptives and prevention of STD including AIDS
D. For prevention of cancer onset: cervical cancer
