Sharon provides support to the associate dean for academic affairs. She also serves as a learning specialist for pharmacy students, providing guidance on developing meaningful study plans and habits.
She came to work at the School of Pharmacy after her long-time job as accessories buyer at Bob Jones Shoes ended when her bosses retired. In addition to working in retail, she taught Children’s Literature for Elementary Teachers, Composition I, Composition II, and tutored in the Writing Center at Maple Woods Community College as an adjunct instructor for 26 years.
Sharon earned a bachelor’s degree in secondary English/language arts education and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction, with an emphasis in English and journalism, from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
