The practice-level degree for pharmacists is the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree. In order to become a pharmacist in the United States, a student must graduate from an accredited pharmacy program and successfully complete the national and state licensure exams. The Doctor of Pharmacy program at UMKC is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).

Pharmacy Camp

Come to one of our three campuses to learn about the field of pharmacy, how to become a pharmacist, engage with current faculty and practicing pharmacists, do hands-on experiments in the lab, participate in social/networking activities with current students and experience what it’s like to be a Pharm.D. student at UMKC.

One-Day Pharmacy Camps- 3 Locations
June 1st – Columbia
June 15th- Springfield
June 29th- Kansas City
