Dr. Barb Kasper is a clinical assistant professor within the Division of Pharmacy Practice and Administration. She is based on the MU campus and instructs in the following courses: Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery, Pharmacotherapy I and Pharmacotherapy II. Additionally, she maintains an ambulatory care practice at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans’ Hospital, where she precepts IPPE and APPE students.
Dr. Kasper received her Pharm.D. degree from South Dakota State University in 2010. She completed a PGY-1 pharmacy residency at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Following residency, she practiced as an ambulatory care pharmacist with VA Illiana Health Care System in Peoria, Illinois. She joined the UMKC faculty in 2015. Her current research interests include layered learning and ambulatory care pharmacy practice.
