WESTERN MISSOURI PSYCHIATRIC PHARMACY RESIDENCY

Program Description

The Psychiatric Pharmacy Practice Residency Program (PGY2) offered at the Northwest Missouri Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center (NMPRC) and Western Missouri Mental Health Center (WMMHC) is sponsored by the respective Missouri Department of Mental Health Institutions, in affiliation with the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Pharmacy.  Residency program accreditation has been granted by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

Two psychiatric pharmacy resident (PGY2) positions are available each year, with one resident at each location.  The residency training program prepares the clinician for the challenges of providing primary care and consultation in psychiatric pharmacy practice.
